For best results and to promote healthy plant growth in an
Ella Square Planter:  When planting,
create a drainage layer on the bottom of the pot by adding medium-sized rocks
or stones as a first layer (on top of the water-minder) to add weight to the
bottom of the planter.  Add potting mix
and fill the container up to 1″ from the top.  Add or transplant your favorite plant to the
pot.  Position the planter in an area
that will allow the plant to receive the recommended amount of sunlight. After
initial planting, refer to the after-care instructions for each specific plant
species. Water accordingly. To combine elegance with functionality, each of
these square pots include a built-in Water Minder feature, which creates a
water reservoir on the bottom of the planter and rehydrates plants throughout
their lifecycle.
